Deze zomer keert Zomerpodium Olevodroom terug met woensdagavonden vol verrassende ontmoetingen tussen artiesten en publiek. 💫

Ben jij muzikant, performer, theatermaker, kunstenaar, collectief of creatieve duizendpoot? Heb je een link met Leuven of Oost-Brabant? Dan zoeken we jou. 🔥

Van hiphop tot circus, van jazz tot comedy, van theater tot een onverwachte combinatie. Hoe meer out-of-the-box, hoe beter. De Olevodroom is een experimenteel podium: compact, maar vol mogelijkheden.

💶 Vergoeding tot €500 per act

This summer, the Summer Stage Olevodroom returns with Wednesday evenings full of surprising encounters between artists and the public. 💫

Are you a musician, performer, theatre maker, artist, collective or creative jack-of-all-trades? Do you have a connection with Leuven or East Brabant? Then we’re looking for you. 🔥

From hip-hop to circus, from jazz to comedy, from theatre to an unexpected combination. The more out-of-the-box, the better. The Olevodroom is an experimental stage: compact, but full of possibilities.

💶 Fee of up to €500 per act
🗓️ Deadline: 17 June 2026 at midnight

Leuvens Klimaatcontract 💚 LOV2030

Tijdens de Summit of LOV ondertekenden 40 Leuvense cultuurorganisaties, waaronder LOV2030, het Leuvens Klimaatcontract 🌍🌿 Samen engageren we ons om te bouwen aan een toekomstbestendige stad, met aandacht voor klimaat, welzijn en maatschappelijke impact.

Vanuit de cultuursector werd ook een nieuw, 11de principe toegevoegd aan het Klimaatcontract: ‘Cultuur als hefboom’. Een erkenning van de kracht van cultuur om mensen samen te brengen en verandering mee mogelijk te maken. 💫

During the Summit of LOV, 40 cultural organisations from Leuven, including LOV2030, signed the Leuven Climate Contract 🌍🌿 Together, we are committed to building a future-proof city, with a focus on climate, well-being and social impact.

The cultural sector also added a new, 11th principle to the Climate Contract: ‘Culture as a lever’. This recognises the power of culture to bring people together and help drive change. 💫

🏡📖 Waar voel jij je thuis?
Met de tentoonstelling Nesteling tonen cursisten van CVO Volt hoe taal, beeld en herinneringen samen een plek kunnen worden om te landen.
✍️ Cursisten schreven teksten en gedichten over herinneringen, verlies en thuiskomen.
📸🎨 Studenten Fotografie en Design gaven die woorden een plek in beelden en bijzondere nestkastjes.

Het resultaat? Een warme en creatieve tentoonstelling die uitnodigt om even stil te staan.

🏡📖 Where do you feel at home?

With the exhibition Nesteling, students from CVO Volt show how language, images and memories can become a place to land.

✍️ Students wrote texts and poems about memories, loss and finding a sense of home.
📸🎨 Photography and Design students gave these words a place through images and unique birdhouses.

The result? A warm and creative exhibition that invites visitors to slow down and reflect.

Summit of LOV 💚 Nationale Loterij

De Summit of LOV bracht honderden partners, makers, vrijwilligers en organisaties samen rond één gedeelde ambitie: samen bouwen aan LOV2030 ✨

Ook Jannie Haek, CEO van de Nationale Loterij, was aanwezig om het engagement voor LOV2030 kracht bij te zetten. Dankzij de steun van haar spelers kunnen we blijven investeren in cultuur, ontmoeting, samenwerking en maatschappelijke impact in Leuven en de hele regio Oost-Brabant.
