Here's a reminder post for you to check out our end of the year Spotify playlist "This was Praimfaya Fest 2023" 👉🏽 https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0EMlVuXvjDb4fFU1y92zxv?si=Sn1k2A9aQ_eMMn6oraheLA&pi=e-gDfOW8ZkTea0

Also stay tuned for another update 😉

Check this out !

With just a few days to go, 2024 is right in front of us. And thus it's time for our yearly awards.

We also made sure to create a Spotify playlist, like last year, where you can listen to the essential tracks of 2023. (The link can be found at the bottom of this post)

So here we goooo:

𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐏𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐌𝐅𝐀𝐘𝐀 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑 (𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐒)

🎚️🔊 Godsleep — Award for the loudest Praimfaya band and tightest set so far. We almost thought the speakers wouldn't last through their soundcheck, because they were already blasting us away. It was an absolute joy to have these guys (and Amy) over. Let's do this again!

🫶🏽💎 Sher Khan — Award for local gem that will be missed. It's always painful when artists decide to put their instruments downs, especially when you have been anticipating an EP. We are looking forward to your individual musical endeavors and feel honored to have been your last live show. (We also have a little "surprise" coming your way)

😓🎻 Morgensoll — Award for unluckiest band EVER at Praimfaya Fest. *insert sad violin music* Hopefully the visas will come through next time you're visiting us, so we can finally have a taste of the full band experience.

⏰🫨 Astrodriver — Award for best latecomer at Praimfaya Fest of all times. Despite missing your own soundcheck, you still managed to put down a solid set. Maybe read your briefings thoroughly and set your alarms next time, huh?

🆘🦸🏻‍♂️ Juneau — Award for band that came to our rescue after a last minute cancellation. Muchas gracias, muchachos. (Did you guys know that you have to pronounce their band name the Flemish way? We're still shocked)

☝🏽 Unfortunately we weren't able to come up with embarrassing details about the following bands, but that's what next time is for 😉

Don't forget to check them out and give them your love as well:

× Taller Than The Trees
× Cuberdon

2023 wouldn't have been possible without help from our comrades at:

🫱🏼‍🫲🏾 🏡 JH SOJO
🫱🏾‍🫲🏻 🥁 VLOER 1 vzw
🫱🏾‍🫲🏽 ⛰️ Which Mountain?
🫱🏽‍🫲🏼 🎛️ Pointsource

And awesome shots from:

🤍 Thank you for sitting our second year through with us. It was a true pain in the ass, but we made it yet again.

Let's keep up the good work and please accept our best wishes for 2024 🤍

Cheers!

We wouldn't be able to do what we do without a bunch of helping hands. So to those of you who have been part of the journey, t-h-a-n-k-s a million! 👏🏽🤍

The search for people who want to lend a hand on a regular basis isn't the easiest one, but once you have found a few souls willing to support your cause, you can move mountains. Our music scene is formed by the perceivable amount of commitment as well as the urge to undertake
action by numerous individuals and it's heartwarming to see how strong willed and determined some of you remain up until this day.

Let's also not forget about the brethren, sistren and fellow organizers over at JH SOJO, VLOER 1 vzw and Which Mountain? who have either provided us with a location for our events or have shared some of their equipment. Collaboration creates comeradeship, shared experiences, shared knowledge and shared success. It's simply beautiful to see things coming together like this.

On to the next! ✊🏽

20/10/2023

While we were recovering from Praimfaya Fest #4 || Godsleep, Astrodriver & Sher Khan, and the horrible feverish cold that we caught, we edited this short throwback footage that you can check out below 🎥

We absolutely loved the amazingly tight stage performances from Sher Khan, Astrodriver and Godsleep 🖤

And to all of those who were there, thank you for the vibes and your presence ✨🫶🏽✨

13/10/2023

Earlier this week, we received the saddening news that Praimfaya Fest #4 || Godsleep, Astrodriver & Sher Khan will be the last show for Sher Khan as they decided to end their journey 🥺

Of course this caught us by surprise, yet we do want to put everything in our power to make their last performance as a band a memorable one.

Make sure to stop by this Sunday at JH SOJO. Doors open at 18:00, Sher Khan's set starts at 18:45.

See you there! 🤘🏽

(Presale tickets can still be obtained until 22:00 this evening)
