🎉 Meet the Winners of the EIT Food Education Start-up Award 2025!
This year, we’re celebrating the brilliant students and alumni who turned their EIT Food learning journey into real entrepreneurial impact.
👉 Each winner will receive €4,000 and visibility across the EIT Food network! Here are the 10 outstanding founders of 2025:
🐝 Dilara Üzünlü – Tech2Biology
From the Inspire programme who developed Tech2biology, an AI-Powered Smart Beehive Technologies that reduces colony loss and boosts yields.
☕ Marc Steger – Kasoda
From the MFS who developed Kasoda, a caffeinated beverage that utilizes the whole coffee fruit, reintegrating by-products into the value chain.
🍽 Stefania Malfatti – Beehavix
From Team Up who developed Beehavix, a solution that combats and prevents food waste in catering businesses and canteens.
🦋 Anabel Millán Leiva – Cucare
From Innovator Fellowship who developed Cucare, a biotech start-up that focuses on insect health and pest management solutions.
🌱 Stamatis Diavatidis – farmAIr
From Seedbed and NPD skills programmes who developed farmAIr, a plant stress management company that detects plant stress reducing pesticide and fertilizer use.
❄️ Yinusa Yakubu Temitope – FarmCI
From Inspire who developed FarmCI a community-based based decentralised freeze-drying system that prevents food loss.
🌿 Abdul Keeri – BiodairyLabs
From Entrepreneurship in a Nutshell, Inspire, NPD skills, Jumpstarter, Teamup, Seedbed who developed Biodairylabs dedicated to developing new sustainable, plant-based fats, preventing CO2 emissions and trans fats.
📊 Viola Bonesu – Plino
From the Inspire programme who developed Plino, a startup that simplifies financial and economical data analysis for SMEs, helping them to grow more efficiently through data driven decision making.
🔥 Alex Nemyrovskyi – Uasilica
From Team Up programme who developed Uasilica, a bio-based adsorbents to help agricultural and energy companies to absorb agricultural waste, converting it into high value products.
🥚 Canan Tiryaki – Vegg Foods
From Inspire, EWA, Jumpstarter, Seedbed who developed Vegg Foods that transforms broken chickpeas into plant-based egg alternatives and vegan products, reducing food waste and saving water.
