Een groot deel van de christenen vergeet dat in de Bijbel staat dat de doden tot stof zullen terugkeren. Door de valse leerstelling dat de doden hun ziel naar de hemel, het vagevuur, of de hel, zal gaan na de dood, leeft bij de meeste christenen de gedachte in de hemel terecht te komen. Nochtans moeten we weten dat als we sterven, we niets meer zullen weten en niets meer zullen kunnen doen. Dan is het gewoon gedaan met ons leven, ons denken en handelen. Ons sien uit na die koninkryk van God op aarde

ʼN Groot deel van die Christene vergeet dat die Bybel sê dat die dooies weer in stof sal kom. As gevolg van die valse lering dat die dooies hulle siele na die hemel, die vagevuur of die hel na die dood sal gaan, het die meeste Christene die gedagte om in die hemel te beland. Ons moet egter weet dat as ons sterf, ons niks meer sal weet nie en niks meer sal kan doen nie. Dan is ons lewens, ons denke en optrede eenvoudig verby. Ons sal dan niks meer weet nie....

Une grande partie des chrétiens oublient que la Bible déclare que les morts retourneront à la poussière. En raison du faux enseignement selon lequel les morts iront leur âme au paradis, au purgatoire ou en enfer après leur mort, la plupart des chrétiens ont l’idée de finir au paradis.
