It’s Ideation Season again in Flanders (Belgium)! From the West to the East, children in primary classes have been inventing their Dream Machines. Anything goes, as long as they really, really want it.

What happens next is human ingenuity and craftsmanship to design and build those ideas. Stay tuned!

OPEN CALL TO ELEMENTARY/PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS AROUND THE WORLD: JOIN WITH YOUR CLASS!

It’s
really easy: this is how it works:

1/
Have
the children in your class invent and draw their Dream Machine(s)
*
Use our Guidelines and Template to make drawings.

And
upload the drawings to our World Map of Ideas here before 21 January
2027.

2/
You
will receive a personalised MyMachine Diploma for each student.

3/
At
the end of January 2027, we will select a limited number of ideas (ideally from
each continent). (It’s not a competition, but more like winning the
lottery.)

If
an idea from your class gets chosen, then:
1/
We will notify you directly.
2/
We will then connect with university students (product designers) who will
bring those selected ideas to life. You will be able to see pictures and/or
videos of the final result: a proof-of-concept created by the university
students!

400+ students co-created Dream Machines, from ideation to working prototypes. MyMachine Czechia has completed its first year. Children came up with ideas, university students designed them, and vocational/technical high school students produced them.

And now we’re off again. The second year is just beginning!
