Hoi mensjes,

Het einde van het semester komt dichterbij en we hebben het allemaal zeer druk. Maar pauze en ontspanning zijn ook heel belangrijk! En voor die ontspanning moet je bij Wina zijn. Kom maandag 18 mei tussen 11 en 17 uur naar het veldje voor de A en geniet van bumperbal, gratis ijsjes, strandstoelen, gezellige muziek en vooral: Bicky's aan 80 cent en frisdrank aan 30 cent, zoals in de goeie oude tijd (een paar jaar terug).

Hopelijk zien we jullie daar om het jaar goed af te sluiten!

Hello dear people,

The last days of the semester are getting closer and we're all very busy. However, taking a break and chilling is also very important! For a great break, Wina has got you covered. Come hang out with us on Monday 18th of May between 11h-17h on the grass field in front of the A block to have fun with the bumper ball, free ice cream, beach chairs, some good music and most importantly: Bicky burgers for 80c and soda for 30c, like in the good old days (a few years back).

🚀 Leuven Space Initiative Networking Event – 21 May

After the great momentum of last year, the Leuven Space Initiative returns with the second edition of its annual networking and pitch event, bringing together space‑industry professionals, KU Leuven researchers, Master of Space Studies alumni, and interested students.
This event showcases ongoing research and collaborations, and is designed to spark new collaborations between academia, industry, and research institutes across the space sector.
Moreover, it provides a great opportunity for the space community to (re)connect.

This year’s edition is co‑organised with the Advanced Master of Space Studies and ESA Technology Broker Belgium (ESA Space Solutions Belgium).

Hallo daar, welkom in de wereld van Pokémon!

Vroeger op de speelplaats kon je er bijna niet aan ontsnappen, de Pokémonkaarten. Maar wie wist er toen eigenlijk wat de bedoeling van die kaarten eigenlijk was? Wina roept alle Pokémonfans op om samen het spel te (leren) spelen. We komen samen op maandag 4 mei om 20u in QDV 03.140. Zowel de onervaren spelers als mensen die meer vertrouwd zijn met de TCG zijn welkom. Neem zeker je kaarten mee als je deze hebt, maar het is geen probleem als dat niet zo is.

Hello there, Welcome to the world of Pokémon!

Pokémon cards always seem to have been unescapeable. But most people don't really know how to play the game that's tied to the cards. Wina is calling upon all the Pokémon-fans to get together and (learn to) play this game. We'll be gathering at 20h on Monday, May 4th, in the QDV 03.140. Both the newcomers and those who know the rules are welcome. Be sure to bring your cards with you if you have them, but it's no problem if you don't have them.

Het is weer lente! En om dit te vieren organiseert Wina weer haar jaarlijkse Lenteconcert. Deze editie zal plaatsvinden op 20 april in Aula Pieter De Sommer. Dit is een evenement waar we ons eigen Winakoor en Winaorkest in de spotlights zetten en kijken naar hun prachtige opvoering. Evenees zetten we onze assistenten en professoren in de bloementjes en reiken we het Gouden Krijtje uit. Tenslotte volgt er een gezellige receptie om wat bij te praten en een drankje en snackje te benuttigen. Deze activiteit zal starten om 19:30 en is bovendien volledig gratis.

It's spring again! And to celebrate this, Wina is organizing her annual Spring Concert again. This edition will take place on April 20 in Aula Pieter De Sommer. This is an event where we put our own Wina Choir and Wina Orchestra in the spotlight and watch their beautiful performances. We will celebrate our assistants and professors and award the Golden Chalk. Ultimately, there will also be a pleasant reception to catch up and enjoy a drink and snack. This activity starts at 7:30 PM and is completely free.

Hallo Wina! Dit jaar heeft Wina toneel samengewerkt met het welbekende Vlaamse televisieprogramma: Praten met Verstraeten en we zijn er in geslaagd om de opnames van hun seizoensfinale bij ons te laten doorgaan, hier in Leuven!

Het belooft een interessante aflevering te worden waar je de befaamde host Viktor Vertraeten aan het werk kan zien met bekende gezichten zoals Steven Van Gucht, Peter Van den Broeck en Sebastien Beaufort. Maar misschien nog het mooiste van al: in het kader van de samenwerking met Wina zijn jullie allemaal uitgenodigd als live publiek! Dit is een kans die jullie niet willen missen, dus kom zeker langs op één van de vier opnamemomenten.
