We were honored to attend the “𝗘𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗸 𝗳ü𝗿 𝗘𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮” charity evening hosted by Linum Europe-client Rechberger last monday.

During this warm and moving event, we had the opportunity to hand over a €𝟭.𝟮𝟬𝟬 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗳 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗺 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 to support Emilia and her family. Emilia, a 13-year-old girl, is currently undergoing intensive rehabilitation after a severe swimming accident last year.

We are grateful to have been part of this heartfelt initiative. 💙

Our Linum Charity has been supporting families and research efforts for orphan diseases.

But where does the name "Linum Charity" actually come from? The Linum Charity is closely linked to the Linumgroup. Founder Fred Vanderbeke named his company after flax (Linum in Latin). Fred's grandfather was a flax farmer and so Fred is closely linked to flax.

Flax, a noble product, producing beautiful and innovative products out of daily labour and effort. The flax sector is known for its entrepreneurial spirit that encourages solidarity and cooperation with human warmth. We wish to convey these values within our group of companies and the Linum Charity.

Linum Charity vzw, recent erkend door het Fonds vrienden van deze vzw via de Koning Boudewijnstichting, organiseerde op donderdag 25 april 2024 een schitterende cabaretavond met Karel Declercq.

Bijna 200 personen waren aanwezig, wat een significante bijdrage leverde aan de werking van de vzw.

Een groot dankjewel gaat ook uit naar onze sponsors St.Bernardus, Impe Catering nv, Wijnen De Clerck, BNP Paribas Fortis België, Darco, Plastibac en de vele tombolasponsors. Ook een grote dank aan de vrijwilligers die aan het succes van deze benefietavond hebben bijgedragen.
