Our last event of the year deserves to be a good one! PBU’s Plant Powered Picnic!! ✨🤸‍♀️

His talk on our food system and how to actually change it definitely left us with a lot to think about. Grateful to have had him with us. 🐓

Soy meatballs again…? Really? 😐
The current veggie options are not a reflection of plant based food but have to do with a lack of real planning. With a shift to plant based catering at UGent, qualified caterers with expertise in tasty options would be behind the menu, guaranteeing us with variety and quality. 🌱🍝

Let’s get one thing straight - we are not the food police 😅😅. PBU is about institutional accountability at our own university. We want to see UGent walk the talk on its own research and goals. Individual freedom of choice remains non-negotiable.
