The international NGO for development cooperation of the Brothers of Charity, whose aim is to support services in Latin America, Asia and Africa.

Fracarita International is a nonprofit organisation of the Congregation of the Brothers of Charity whose aim is to support the services of the congregation especially in Latin America, Africa and Asia. Fracarita International focuses on children, youth and adults in the South who are confronted with three very specific problems:
• Disability: physical, cognitive, mental, sensory, emotional, develo

pmental or social disabilities
• Mental suffering and disorder: need for psycho-social counselling, psychiatric care and care of addicts
• Lack of educational and vocational opportunities

That’s why our NGO concentrates its activities
in three different fields:
• mental health care
• care for people with a disability
• education and training

In addition to these three sectors, the NGO is also frequently involved in emergency aid and care for refugees, street children, HIV-patients or elderly, but only in very specific cases. Fracarita International has a special consultative status in the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations. Visit our website www.fracarita-international.org for more information.
