Anxiety, stress, and sleep problems are part of everyday life for many people living with young-onset dementia and for the families and care professionals around them. Yet these psychosocial challenges are too often insufficiently addressed, and fragmented care systems make it even harder to provide consistent support across home and care settings.
In this webinar, Julie Vanderlinden presents insights from a co-creative research project exploring how to strengthen and connect expertise across residential care and the home environment. She will introduce the Connected Care framework and draw on the YOUNG-D programme; a structured psychosocial intervention translating evidence-informed techniques such as mindfulness, breathing exercises, and cognitive-behavioural strategies into everyday care practice.
