After 15 years Freek and myself decided to pull the plug on Taping Policies. TP was the one thing that has brought me to where I am now. But as my personal music is taking over I no longer found the time nor energy to run this thing properly. I would like to thank the massive amount of people involved over the years; artists, organizers, filmmakers, etc. Thank thank you.

Self-taught (documentary) filmmaker based in Geel, Belgium.

With Taping Policies I produce work that balances on the fringes of improvised and mostly analytical material. With REC/EDIT/TAPE, a new online series, this idea is presented in a broader context: a shoot is scheduled where we film on the spot, usually w/o any conceptual idea and the narration is created in the edit afterwards. The release of an episode is then combined with a limited tape release.

I also direct/produce full feature (music) documentaries. My latest feature A Po***ck of Sound is a raw documentary on noise/avant pioneers Borbetomagus. Currently I`m working on another documentary aimed for completion in 2019.
