Another successful Venomous Snake Handling Course completed 💥

Last weekend, we welcomed a fantastic group of passionate reptile keepers, biologists, zoo keepers and professionals for two intensive days of learning, practice, and hands-on experience.

Participants worked on essential handling techniques, risk assessment, species-specific behaviour, and safe working practices when dealing with venomous snakes. It was great to see everyone’s confidence and skills develop throughout the course.

A big thank you to all attendees for their enthusiasm, professionalism, and commitment to safety. We hope to see many of you again in future courses and advanced training sessions.

Missed this course? New dates coming soon!

Dear friends & followers,

It is a sad day for Belgian h**petoculture… yesterday we had to say goodbye to one of our long term friends and core members. David Van Berlo

David has passed away after a long and heroic battle against cancer.

Many of you have met David over the years on our expeditions all over the World and our parties/gatherings here in Belgium. I’m sure many will remember him as an outgoing, passionate and loving person who was always ready to help out his friends or share stories and laughs.

David was also a devoted educator for the Belgian youth on reptiles and arachnids. His animals will continue his legacy under our care.

David bro, wherever you are, we hope you have found peace. We love you. We miss you. And thanks for everything.
