Donation Collection – Wednesday 11 March

On Wednesday 11 March, volunteers from St. Vincent de Paul in Ath will come to collect donations.

If you have items you would like to donate, you can bring them between 11:30 and 12:00 at the new IC3 office, next to the ATM.

We are looking for:
- Clothes for children and adults
- Household items
- TV
- Unopened food

Your donations will help families in need in the local community.

Hello Everybody,

This Friday, Feb 6 from 11 00 to 12 00, the SHAPE IC3 is collecting non-perishable foods and any other donations (including clothes) you might not need anymore, but that can find a new home where it is much needed and appreciated.

If you want to help, you can come by our office behind the ATM on Shape during this time.

Volunteers from the Conference, Society Saint Vincent de Paul (a local non profit we support located in Maffle) are coming to collect at 12 00 the same day!

Wishing you Seasons Greetings from everyone at SHAPE IC3! A huge thank you for your support, both in toys, food and monetary donations, that helped us to bring hope, through a Belgian tradition, that celebrates the caring heart of a man named Saint Nicholas. In 2025, we were able to coodinate activities for 6 local non-profit organizations, who support disadvantaged children and their families.

For Christmas, our last gift-giving finds IC3s Cristina "seen in passing" with a sack of new fleece blankets for 80 elderly residents living at Home St Joseph, run by the "Little Sisters of the Poor" in Brussels. Seen with Julija, bags of food were also included as the Little Sisters also share homemade bread for the homeless who knock.

Thank you again for being part of something bigger than ourselves. Since 2013, we come together to create a special moment in time, to give a little back, and show the same care and hope to those in need.

Happy St. Nicholas Day - Nicholas was a real person! This time of year, our IC3 international volunteers are working hard to help local non profits to bring your donations of food (Carrefour exit, Big Green Box), toys and monetary support to help families, in need. Thank you for your ❤!

🙋‍♀️ SHAPE iC3s Julija and Cristina were ready for a pick up to help a local non-profit, called ESOP (in Cuesmes), with toys for their upcoming St Nicholas party for all the children whose families are supported with weekly food.

Thank you for your donations that let the IC3 personal shoppers loose to shop at the Broze Toy Store down the street! Its humbling (we are glad we can help) to be able to give a little of our international community spirit 😘 and cheer to this long-standing Belgian tradition!

SHAPE St Nicholas Toy Appeal 2025 - A big thank you 😘 for all the monetary and toy donations for this Charity Appeal. This week, IC3s Cristina and Julija coodinated gifts for children up to 18yrs old whose families are supported by a non-profit called: ESOP (in Cuesmes) whose families are given weekly food 🍽️ and clothing support.

Les Ecoles des Devoirs, is an After School Club that Shape has been supporting well before our St Nicholas Appeal (IC3 started in 2013).

This year, an active duty military member helped (once again) to collect money for IC3s Eli and Cristina to coodinate a special pick up to support kids in one of the poorest parts of Belgium.

One year, SHAPE Optical and supporters to IC3 partnered to help a family buy glasses and shoes for a little boy to go to school. Who knows what extra goodies are hidden in these gifts- St Nicholas will present them!

Thank you for all the lovingly-filled shoe boxes stuffed with much needed items for mothers and their kids, living at Le Kangourou!

The hope and love, part of the Belgium tradition who celebrate the heart that St Nicholas (a real man) had for those in need many years ago, continues on today.
