✨ Join the Be Forró Core Team! 🇧🇷💙

Be Forró is a non-profit association dedicated to promoting Brazilian culture through cultural events, with a special focus on forró, the vibrant social dance and music from Northeast Brazil.

From September to June, we organize monthly events at La Cellule 133 in Saint-Gilles, bringing together a welcoming community of dancers, musicians, and Brazilian culture lovers.

Behind every event is an amazing team of dedicated volunteers, supported by our monthly event volunteers who help make each party a success.

As Be Forró continues to grow, we're entering an exciting new chapter. To keep building a sustainable, creative, and welcoming community, we're looking for new people to join our core teams.

Whether you're passionate about communication, organization, finance, or the artistic side of events, there's a place for you!

💬 French is the language most commonly spoken within the team, but we also work in English, and key information is translated into Portuguese.

🤝 Everyone is welcome. We value diversity and strive to create an inclusive, respectful, and joyful community—regardless of your background, language, identity, or experience.

A unique occasion — BeForró brings together three exceptional Brazilian artists 🏵️

Douglas Marcolino – virtuoso accordionist from the Brazilian Nordeste, blending tradition and modern influences.
Dhu Messias – powerful percussionist and award-winning zabumbeiro, bringing the heartbeat of Forró.
LIA – captivating singer, actress, and performer, merging voice, movement, and emotion on stage.
