Official page of the European Federation of Psychiatric Trainees

The EFPT represents the consensus of psychiatric trainees' organisations across European countries and advocates for what training should look like, regardless of the country. EFPT goals are:

- to explore the diversity and richness of current training of psychiatrists in Europe;
- to support the development of national trainees’ organisations in all European countries;
- to promote and represent internationally the views of the trainees in all branches of psychiatry;
- to translate the discussion of trainees into action at a local level to improve training.

Guided by our CAP Together Strategy 2026-2027, this year we will focus on strengthening representation, communication and connection, and tangible opportunities for CAP trainees across Europe. The Working Group is a space to connect, share experiences, collaborate on meaningful projects, and ensure that CAP trainees have a strong voice within EFPT. 🧠 Explore the tools shaping the future of neuroscience at EBRAINS Users Days 2026!

Taking place on 6–7 October 2026 at EINC Heidelberg, Germany, this two-day event is designed for both newcomers and experienced users of the EBRAINS Research Infrastructure.

📅 6 October: Introductory sessions on how EBRAINS can support your research
💻 7 October: Hands-on tutorials featuring a broad range of EBRAINS tools and services

🎉 *Big news!!!EFPT has a booth at ECNP 2026!*🎉

We’ve secured stand B0.30 at the 39th ECNP Congress in Munich (10–13 October 2026) 🇩🇪

Time to build our Booth Organising Committee! Over the next 10 days (rest of August) we’re looking for:

🔹 Coordinators :each owns one piece of the puzzle:
Staffing (volunteers & rota)
Materials (printing, budget, logistics)
Activities & Engagement (map, QR codes, recruitment)
Media (social media, photos)
Social Events (optional — if your NTA wants to co-host something)

🔹 Volunteers, don’t want to lead a whole area but happy to grab a shift on the booth? *We need you too!*

In about *two weeks we’ll set up a dedicated group to organise everything together.*
