🎉 Celebrating 10 years of the EFPT Porto Research Award! 🎉

The EFPT Porto Research Award has been an annual 1,000€ prize for the past 10 years, created to support psychiatric trainees pursuing research in psychiatry.

This award originated from a 10,000€ donation to the EFPT, from surplus generated from the 23rd EFPT Forum organised in Porto, Portugal in 2015 under the leadership of Dr Mariana Pinto da Costa.

Over the past ten editions, the EFPT Porto Research Award has recognised outstanding psychiatric trainees from across Europe, showcasing the breadth, quality, innovation and relevance of trainee-led research in psychiatry.

Congratulations to all the winners: Iryna Frankova, Daniel Lindqvis, Adrian Chrobak, Lucy Stirland, Roel Mocking, Donncha Mullin, Roxanne Keynejad, Piergiorgio Mandarano, Nicolas Leenaerts and Francesca Bardi.

This anniversary is an opportunity to express gratitude to all EFPT Presidents over the past 10 years, the EFPT Research Working Group, the Portuguese Association of Psychiatric Trainees (APIP), the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Trainees (ANIPIA), all applicants and all the juries who have contributed to shaping this initiative.

Together, they represent ten years of trainee research, European collaboration, and commitment to the future of psychiatry.

Here’s to the next decade of innovation, collaboration, and excellence in psychiatric research! 🌍🧠

A special thank you to APIP for creating this wonderful video!
