We are a pluralistic, non-party political and without religious affiliation association created by and for volunteers. - Contributing to the social life through the participation of Belgian and foreign volunteers to activities and projects of general interest;
- Contributing to the integration of the different communities living in Brussels, especially in the area of Molenbeek -Saint -Jean characterized by deep social and cultural differences;
- Encouraging the mobility of people and ideas through international exchanges for the purpose of knowledge, mutual understanding and peace;
- Implementing educational projects aiming at promoting active citizenship among people for an inclusive and participatory, democratic and sustainable society;
- Representing the collective voice of its members to government and public opinion;
- Increasing the active participation of youth, the intercultural exchanges , the youth mobility in order to enable young people to fully play their role of active citizens, responsible and critical towards the society . Our activities
- The provision of services and short, medium or long term voluntary projects in Belgium and abroad (European Volunteer Service, Trainings and Youth Exchange);
- The organization of cultural events (exhibitions, shows...);
- The organization of seminars, workshops or study sessions;
- The organization of local, national or international voluntary workcamps. Nos activités
Pour répondre à nos objectifs, les activités prevues par Intermundia sont:
- l’offre de services et de projets volontaires, en Belgique comme à l’étranger, à court, moyen ou long terme (Service volontaire européen, Trainings et Echanges Jeunes);
- L'organisation de manifestations culturelles (expositions, spectacles, ...);
- L’ organisation de séminaires, de journées d'études ou d'information;
- L'organisation de chantiers locaux, nationaux ou internationaux de volontaires. Intermundia needs the full support of any person who would like to be involved. We are looking for Volunteers of any origin or nationality willing to help us building our journey.
