Last Saturday, we had the opportunity to hold the General Assembly and Research day of our Society at the VUB, kindly hosted by Prof. Snoeck, head of the Brussels Bioarchaeology Lab (BB-lab) ✨
It was a very engaging meeting, bringing together our members to review the Society’s activities, discuss ongoing projects, and outline our plans for the coming year 📔
We had also the chance to visit the BB-lab facilities🔬and to attend three presentations given by young researchers of Ghent University, VUB and ULB, who showcased their ongoing work in anthropology and shared inspiring insights into current developments in the field 🦴
The research day provided an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas, strengthen collaborations, and reaffirm our shared commitment to sciences in Anthropology and Prehistory 💡
The board of the Assembly thank Prof. Snoeck and the BB-lab team for their warm hospitality, the 3 key speakers, Dr. Stamataki, Dr. Boucherie & Dr. Van Hattum, for their enthusiasm and all members who came and contributed to this enriching day 🤓!
We look forward to another year of fruitful activities and continued growth for our Society!
