🌍 From Yaoundé, with purpose.

This week, LadyAgri Impact Investment Hub was at the heart of two landmark moments on the sidelines of WTO MC14 — the 14th Ministerial Conference, held March 26–29, 2026 in Yaoundé.

On Wednesday, our Founder & CEO Hilary Barry contributed to the International Trade Centre SheTrades Forum, helping shape high-level reform discussions on women's access to international trade, finance and sustainable development.

On Thursday, she moderated the **Women's Forum organised by the Cocoa and Coffee interprofession CICC Officiel with the theme *"Women at the Heart of Sustainable Cocoa and Coffee Value Chains"* — bringing together not just Women but also men leaders from across Africa at Yaoundé City Hall.

The in the room was rare and a real breakthrough. 👌🏽

The forum carried not only institutional weight but a paradigm shift from usual listing of gender based co straints to solutions. Attending alongside women producers, processors and value chain actors were representatives from the Union, International Cocoa organisation (ICCO), International Coffee Organization, Acram Robusta Africain, and Cameroon 's Ministries of Trade, Agriculture, Research and Land Titles, Ministry of Women— a signal that the policy and investment community is listening.

The conversations were rich, grounded, and urgent:
✅ Women's lived experiences across cocoa and coffee value chains — from bean to bar, cherry to specialty cup
✅ Institutional and partnership models that genuinely move the needle on empowerment and job creation
✅ Pathways to skills, finance, technology and markets — with women not just included, but leading

LadyAgri shared concrete field evidence from our **FemmesForce programme in Cameroon** — four years of building women's economic agency across cocoa communities and agri-food value chains.

The calibre of engagement — from the EU, international commodity bodies, government ministries, banks, buyers and investors — gave us real optimism about what's possible when inclusion is treated as strategy, not afterthought.

Le 17 mars 2026 à Bruxelles, jour de la Saint-Patrick ☘️, une énergie incroyable s’est dégagée autour d’une ambition commune : accélérer l’impact des femmes dans l’agriculture et les systèmes alimentaires 🌍🌱

À l’occasion du LadyAgri Irish–Africa Coffee Morning & Ambassador Awards 2026, nous avons eu l’honneur d’échanger avec des voix influentes et engagées, dont Phil Hogan, ancien Commissaire européen au Commerce et à l’Agriculture, candidat de l’Irlande pour le poste de Directeur général de la FAO, et Maria Walsh, députée au Parlement européen, autour de sujets clés tels que le financement, la géopolitique et le leadership féminin dans le secteur agricole.

Un symbole fort en cette journée irlandaise : le lien entre l’Europe, l’Irlande et l’Afrique au service d’une agriculture plus inclusive et durable.

🟢 2026 marque un moment charnière en tant qu’Année de la Femme Agricultrice, reconnaissant le rôle essentiel des femmes dans la transformation de l’agriculture et des systèmes alimentaires.

L’équipe de LadyAgri Impact Investment HUB a eu le plaisir de rejoindre la délégation de la Côte d’Ivoire 🇨🇮 au Salon International de l’Agriculture de Paris 2026 ( ), une édition qui à mis la Côte d'Ivoire à l'honneur.
Au cœur de la Conférence interministérielle de cette année se trouvait une urgence partagée : accélérer l’innovation et les investissements afin de construire une agriculture durable et des systèmes alimentaires résilients.
Nous avons également profité de cette occasion pour présenter les derniers progrès de notre programme SAFAF, cofinancé par l’Union européenne, en mettant en avant les principales avancées et les impacts concrets sur le terrain.
Ensemble, nous faisons progresser des solutions qui autonomisent les femmes agricultrices, renforcent les chaînes de valeur agricoles et favorisent une croissance inclusive à travers l’Afrique.

Today, we celebrate those who feed the world often working in the shadows, yet standing at the heart of change.

Through the FemmesForces program, implemented by LadyAgri Impact Investment Hub in partnership with Cargill, more than 200 rural women agro-processors in Cameroon are strengthening their skills, increasing their income, and directly contributing to local food security.

🎥 In this video, Mrs ABESSOLO BALLA Nathalie, delegate of the NGOUMOU GIC, shares her inspiring journey from artisanal processing to collective management, from mutual support to the creation of thriving rural micro-enterprises.

Behind every product sold cassava sticks, flour, tapioca, or infant porridge lie stories of resilience, innovation, and women’s pride.

🍽️ On this World Food Day, let’s remember that empowering women means sustainably nourishing communities.
It means investing in a fairer, more local, and inclusive food system.

CELEBRATING A DECADE OF IMPACT 🎊🎉

✨ Kampani has played such a special role in the LadyAgri journey. For over a decade, Steven Serneels and Wouter Vandersypen have been our mentors, guides, and instrumental allies in the evolution of 1000s of woment farmers, cooperatives, and WomenSMEs

🎉 Yesterday, it was such a joy for Ayele Sikavi Gabiam and Hilary Barry to attend Kampani birthday — a reminder of the friendships and shared vision that fuel this journey.

The Kampani experiment was an audacious one: a social impact fund dedicated to farming cooperatives in Africa, Latin America, and now Asia. 🌍 They went where others would not, financing infrastructure, logistics, and providing gender-smart patient capital. Yesterday with two stellar panels the thought leaders and international impact practitioners Hedwig Siewertsen, Brian Milder Truvalu, Regis Meritan and Jean Van Wetter ,Joris Totté, Songbae Lee shared their appreciation for the Kampani social impact investment model.

A wonderful presentation from Dr Zodome Gildas of Biophyto of his SME journey supported by the Catalytic Capital of Kampani and technical support of Enabel This SME has grown from serving 300 farmers to now more than 3000 farmers and with regional ambition to serve the entire ECOWAS region. 🚀

By breaking silos between the world of development cooperation and impact investing, they paved the way for real change. Today, surrounded by a dynamic team — Dimitry Van Raemdonck, Aude Sauvaget, Mauricio Barocio, Lola Pochet — the vision only grows stronger.
