Empowering Every Child to Catch the Wind
⛵️Help us break barriers in Sailing ⛵️
The sea belong to everyone, yet for many children with physical & cognitive disabilities the simple joy of setting sail feels entirely out of reach.
As part of the Lega Navale Italiana, the Giovanni Cufari sailing school in Cariati, Italy, provides fully funded sailing activities for young people with special needs.
We fully support their belief that the sea should heal, connect and empower- not exclude.
To make this completely safe, we are funding a specialised pontoon hoist to lift children with reduced mobility into the boats.
For a child facing physical or cognitive challenges, being on the water boosts self-esteem and independence while fostering a true sense of belonging.

Together, we can remove barriers and open the sea to every child. Be part of this meaningful journey and help us make a difference.

📸 🌎 50 years Photo Exhibition of Association Femmes D’Europe.

From 20 to 30 April, our 50 Years Photo Exhibition is on display at La Piazza in the Berlaymont building of the European Commission!
We were honoured to welcome our Honorary President, EVP Teresa Ribera on Tuesday 21 April, who enjoyed a guided tour led by our President Niovi Kyriazakou.
Together, we looked back on five decades of helping those in need, recalling the countless humanitarian projects that have brought comfort, dignity and hope. 🫶🏼🌎

We warmly thank the European Commission for its continuous support throughout all these years. The exhibition is held under the patronage of the Greek Commissioner, Apostolos Tzitzikostas, to whom we express our sincere gratitude.🇪🇺
The Exhibition continues until this Thursday evening (30/04).

🎉Celebrating 50 years of Association Femmes d’Europe is more than an Anniversary, it is a tribute to the values that unite us: solidarity, generosity, commitment and friendship.
On Thursday 23/04 the Press Room of the Berlaymont Building of E.C. 🇪🇺was filled with members, friends, sponsors, beneficiaries, and donors all gathered to honour five decades of commitment and impact.
A retrospective of the Projects Committee highlighted the initiatives and dedicated members behind our humanitarian projects. Some of our beneficiaries also took the floor, sharing their experiences with the audience and presenting their inspiring work.🌎💙
Their testimonies reflected remarkable devotion and diverse ways of supporting communities and improving lives, bringing a deeply human dimension to the evening. Everyone was truly touched.

After the Projects Ceremony, La Piazza of the Berlaymont came alive as guests gathered to continue the celebration, admire the 50 Years Photo Exhibition of our Association and share a a refined cocktail reception with delicious food and drinks under the enchanting voice of soprano Olga Artemovska. 🥂🎶
It was a moment of connection, joy and reflection, truly in the spirit of Femmes d’Europe.
The distribution of our commemorative Yearbook marked a lasting testament to everything we have built together all these years. Unforgettable moments, faces , projects and stories!

The Italian Group invites you to a musical conference « Italy: The Very Rich Hours of the Mother of All Music » by Prof. Patrick Favre-Tissot, musicologist and historian on Tuesday 17/2 at the Italian Cultural Institute at Rue de Livourne 38, Brussels.
