This is how small, targeted grants can lay the foundations for long‑term economic and health benefits. A few examples reported by our partners during Q1 in 2026:
What a difference €5,600 can make 🌱
In rural Inida our funding is already creating impact through Kudumbam moringa project. 40 women farmers have been fully trained to grow, process and market moringa, building new skills and year‑round income opportunities. Despite tough monsoon conditions, seedlings were successfully planted and a clear marketing plan is in place. The ripple effects are growing fast: 1,300 secondary students trained, local NGOs engaged through a 3‑day workshop, and farmers accessing state‑supported drip irrigation.
Clean water, stronger communities 💧
In , DR Congo, our €4,000 grant helped transform daily life for over 2,500 refugees from Congo‑Brazzaville. Two protected water sources now provide reliable access to safe drinking water. Beyond infrastructure, Promotion Nutritionnelle et Sanitaire trained 20 community members to maintain the sources and promote hygiene, ensuring long‑term sustainability.
Stitching new futures for women in India 🧵✨
With a €2,600 grant, our support helped transform lives in rural Andhra Pradesh. Through a vocational tailoring project led by Adventure Aid UK and local partner Apt Social Service Society-India, 15 women living in extreme poverty completed six months of hands‑on training and each received a sewing machine and certification. Former agricultural labourers earning just a few euros a day are now equipped to generate steady income - from tailoring in the evenings to launching home‑based businesses or funding their children’s education.
