Conference of European Churches

14/10/2026

🙏 We join Christians across Europe and beyond in prayer for His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, welcoming the encouraging news of his successful surgery and wishing him a full recovery.

We stand in solidarity with the Holy Father and the Catholic Church in this time. Catholic churches across Europe are valued ecumenical partners in our shared commitment to Christian unity, peace and reconciliation.

“Together with our Catholic brothers and sisters, we pray for His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, for his renewed strength and good health, and for God’s guidance in his ministry and leadership,” said Rev. Frank-Dieter Fischbach, CEC General Secretary.

🕊️ May God grant the Holy Father strength, healing and peace.
