Walking through a real SME case, the panel will look at how everyday misunderstandings around patents and trademarks turn into legal disputes and unnecessary costs, and what could have been done earlier to avoid them.

On 26 May in Brussels, two people who know European tourism, skills and policy inside out will set the tone for the day.

Theodor Grassos – Secretary General of EVBB, Vice-President of European Entrepreneurs CEA-PME – brings a rare combination of strategic vision and hands-on delivery: 300+ projects, 2,000+ active partners across 85 countries, and over €100M in value created. A management consultant, VET expert and self-described rock climber who approaches every challenge the same way: with long-term commitment and honest ambition.

Marta Machado – Deputy Director General at HOTREC – brings deep institutional knowledge from inside the European Commission and Parliament, combined with sharp expertise in tourism, social affairs and sustainability policy.
