BeGlobal zoekt jonge mensen in België (18–30 jaar), met diverse achtergronden en ervaringen, die hun projectidee willen verdiepen en willen bijdragen aan internationale solidariteit, zowel als individu of in groep.

Vandaag lanceren we officieel de projectoproep van de Youth Incubator, een initiatief van Enabel en Colruyt Group Foundation.

Soms begint een idee klein. Vanuit een gedachte, een frustratie of een wens om iets te veranderen. Maar wat als dat idee de kans krijgt om te groeien?

De Youth Incubator is er net voor die eerste stap: een idee omzetten in een concreet project.

📅 Tot en met 21 juni zoeken we jonge mensen in België (18–30 jaar), met diverse achtergronden en ervaringen, die hun projectidee willen verdiepen en willen bijdragen aan internationale solidariteit, zowel als individu of in groep.

Via de Youth Incubator krijgen zij de kans om hun idee uit te werken via workshops, coaching, een sterk netwerk én een startbudget tot €3000. Zo kunnen ze experimenteren, hun visie aanscherpen en een project ontwikkelen met impact.

Aujourd’hui, nous lançons officiellement l’appel à projets Youth Incubator, une initiative d’Enabel et Colruyt Group Foundation

Parfois, une idée commence toute petite. Elle naît d’une réflexion, d’une frustration ou d’une envie de changer les choses. Mais que se passerait-il si cette idée avait la chance de grandir ?

Le ‘Youth Incubator’ est là pour ce premier pas : transformer une idée en projet concret.

📅 Jusqu’au 21 juin inclus, nous recherchons des jeunes en Belgique (18–30 ans), issus de différents horizons et avec des parcours variés, qui souhaitent développer leur idée de projet et contribuer à la solidarité internationale, seul·e ou en groupe.

Grâce au Youth Incubator, iels auront l’opportunité de faire évoluer leur projet via des ateliers, du coaching, un réseau solide et un budget de départ pouvant aller jusqu’à 3 000 €. Une occasion d’expérimenter, d’affiner leur vision et de développer un projet porteur de sens.

🎪🌍 Last week, KIYO, together with Amoukanama , supported young people from Campus de Reynaert - Salto Humano in Tielt, in raising awareness on climate change through the art of circus.

Through creativity and collaboration, youth came together to explore climate justice and express their voices in powerful ways.

This initiative shows how participatory and creative approaches can empower young people to engage with global challenges.

🌎Today, on International Women’s Rights Day, we recognise the rights, strength and potential of women and girls around the world.

✨When girls and women have access to learning opportunities, skills development and supportive environments, they can take charge of their lives, realise their talents and contribute to positive change in their communities.

🤝Through initiatives such as climate-resilient agriculture project and vocational training, KIYO and its partners work alongside women to strengthen their capacities and expand their opportunities.

On December 2025, our partner Associação Beneficente AMAR icente AMAR hosted the III Forum on Socio-Productive Inclusion and Female Leadership – Women in Motion: Challenges and Opportunities in Brazil.

The Forum created a space for dialogue on women’s economic autonomy, access to the labour market, and the importance of strong support networks. Socio-productive inclusion helps reduce inequalities and create sustainable opportunities.

We are proud to support initiatives that expand opportunities and strengthen young women’s leadership. 💛

After careful consideration, KIYO will gradually phase out its activities by the end of June 2026.

This decision was not taken lightly. Until the end of May 2026, we remain fully committed to completing our 2022–2026 DGD programme and all ongoing projects. Our priority is to honour our commitments to young people, partners and donors throughout this transition.

To everyone who has supported KIYO over the years: thank you. Because of you, thousands of young people in Belgium, the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Philippines, Brazil and Burundi have been empowered.
