In Episode 2, Nina Geroski and Alba Bonet Martinez offer a glimpse into what music truly means to them.

For Nina, inspiration is rooted in community. Whether it's the energy of being around fellow musicians, learning from each, or recognizing that every single moment - on and off stage - matters, her journey is fueled by passion.

Alba finds a powerful connection in the quiet moments, reminding us that "silence is part of the song." From the endless notes, colors, and personal reminders on her scores to the full-circle experience of standing next to the musicians she grew up listening to, her path is one of continuous growth.

Swipe to see how the unseen practice hours, the shared rehearsals, and the quiet moments in between all come together.

What part of the creative process resonates most with you?

🎻 Beyond the Stage | Episode 1

The stage is only part of the story.

In the first episode of our new series, WBYO - Western Balkans Youth Orchestra musicians Emily and Ioan invite us into the everyday moments that shape their lives beyond rehearsals and performances.

For Emily, inspiration often comes from the world outside her practice room. A view into the courtyard, a quick hello to a passing friend, or time spent teaching and learning alongside others makes practicing feel more connected and meaningful.

For Ioan, music is just one part of a wider creative world, alongside his passion for musicology and the curiosity that drives him to keep exploring.

What everyday moment inspires you?

Earlier this week in Madrid, we brought together young people from Cibercorresponsales, parents, educators, policymakers, industry leaders, and digital safety advocates to discuss one of the most pressing challenges facing families today: how to keep young people safe online while helping them make the most of the opportunities the digital world offers.

The conversation was informed by our latest research across Spain and Europe, which shows that parents want to remain in the driving seat when it comes to their children’s digital wellbeing, with stronger support for parent-approval solutions rather than blanket restrictions.

Together with SEK International Schools and Fad Juventud, and with Nora Kurtin from Sapos y Princesas moderating the discussion, participants explored what it takes to make digital safety and wellbeing a reality.

From addressing parents’ top concerns such as cyberbullying, talking to strangers, and inappropriate content and to exploring safety features, resources, and practical tools, the conversation focused on solutions that can be applied in everyday family life.

As María Zabala from Fad Juventud noted:

“The more we learn, the better equipped we are to help young people navigate its challenges, dangers, risks, as well as its opportunities.”

She also emphasised:

“Protection goes hand in hand with our own digital literacy and willingness to keep learning.”

Over recent months, we’ve been running a survey across Europe to better understand how parents and young people experience the digital world: their needs, expectations, concerns, and solutions.

One thing is clear: parents and guardians want to be in the driving seat when it comes to their teenagers’ digital safety.

Now, the conversation continues in Madrid 🇪🇸

Today, we present our latest findings alongside local partners including Fad Juventud and SEK International Schools , bringing together policymakers, youth representatives, and digital experts. The conversation will be moderated by Nora Kurtin.

This roundtable is part of our broader European research on parental approval and digital experiences.

We look forward to bringing Spanish voices into this ongoing European dialogue.
Let’s work together for a safer, better digital future.
