AEGEE-Europe had the pleasure of attending the LXXII Council Meeting Istanbul - Boğaziçi of ESTIEM 🤝✨

Our Secretary General joined IEM students from across Europe for a week of discussions, exchange of ideas, and strengthening inter-organisational connections. As the equivalent of AEGEE’s Agora, the Council Meeting is one of ESTIEM’s key decision-making events, where delegates elected the next Board, voted on important strategic decisions, and took their first steps towards developing ESTIEM’s work in Advocacy.

Opportunities like these remind us of the importance of collaboration between youth organisations in building a more connected, active, and representative student community across Europe!

Thank you, ESTIEM, for the invitation and the warm welcome 💙💚

The European Youth Forum held its first General Assembly of 2026 in Tromso, Norway and AEGEE was there 🌍

Alongside nearly 100 member organisations, delegates voted on a new Board, passed motions, and welcomed GoFor as the Forum’s newest full member.

Because the future of Europe is built in rooms like this! 💬

“Home has always been more of a feeling for me - one that is best experienced through the European spirit at AEGEE events. And who is as lucky as me to already have friends and a home in another country before actually moving there?”

Charlotte is one of our motivated members who is mostly interested in the advocacy and thematic aims of the organization. As a member of the Help Ukraine Task Force, she contributes to the organization of our advocacy and support for Ukraine. Charlotte was also one of the organizers of EPM Tartu’s Thematic Conference: Bridging Youth to Employment, which was one of our most successful conferences. The Content Team consisted of Bente, Charlotte, and Sandra, who invited the speakers, facilitated the conference, and made sure we had a lot of fun. Fun fact about Charlotte: it is thanks to AEGEE she found her apartment. Thank you, Charlotte for all your dedication and for showing us the AEGEE spirit.

“AEGEEans are people who come together from different places, different stories, and somehow build something that feels like it belongs to all of us. People who make space for each other, who embrace differences and turn them into connection. People who turn ideas into reality, who show up for each other, and leave every space a little better than they found it.”

Kadi first served as event coordinator and later president of her local, then went on to become the main organiser of EPM Tartu 2026, and now is starting her journey as ambassador for Europe on Track 12. Thank you, Kadi, for all your dedication and for showing us the AEGEE spirit.

Another AGORA, another Fundraiser - every contribution counts! 💰

🇺🇦 As Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine remains ongoing after four years, our friends in Ukraine remain in need of humanitarian assistance. By supporting the organisation Razom for Ukraine, we are supporting necessary evacuations, medical assistance, renovations, and much more.

🏥 This fundraiser also supports the recovery of Dominika, member of AEGEE-Poznań, who has remained hospitalized since a severe accident in 2025. After waking from a month-long coma with severe spinal, brain and internal injuries, she now needs long, costly rehabilitation to return to health.

🫵🏾 Now it’s on you to show how the AEGEE spirit can inspire solidarity with Ukraine and with Dominika! Rumour has it that another flag auction is happening at the AGORA, so steal for a good cause and collect donations from your local back at home to shine at the auction. 👩‍⚖️ Can we top last year’s donations of almost 2200€?

🧾 Payment info:
1. Revolut: http://revolut.me/panbaczynski
2. Paypal: (please remember to choose the family and friends option)
3. AEGEE-Europe Account: BE35 5230 8146 6537 (indicate that the payment is for the Agora fundraiser)

Unless specified otherwise, donations will be split 50/50 between both causes.

Thank you for your support - you are amazing! 🩵💛🤍

EPM? Why You Should Care?

Strategy can feel distant, complicated, or even sometimes just… boring. But EPM is where plans turn into action, and your input actually could make a difference.

Join this online session to see, in simple language, what EPM really is, how it affects your local, and why participating matters. No jargon, no long slides.
