Dear Network,
As the term of Comité Directeur 63 comes to an end, we want to share our farewells and reflect on what made this year as volunteers so meaningful. ✨ Two inspiring days in Poitiers! 🇫🇷

In the first days of July, we had the pleasure of joining the transnational project meeting for the Erasmus+ project Let’s Break the Erasmus Bubble.
A huge thank you to the University of Poitiers for hosting us so warmly!

We had a productive and enjoyable time working together with our partners, exchanging ideas, and building on the work we started in November.
This project is all about inclusivity, learning from each other, and creating a more connected and inclusive Erasmus experience.

We were inspired by the cooperative spirit and the enthousiasm, brought by all consortium members.

Some experiences are better heard than told 🫶

One of AEGEE’s aims is Intercultural Exchange: creating opportunities for young Europeans to live, learn, and grow alongside people from backgrounds completely different from their own. Through Summer Universities, AEGEE brings students into direct contact with new languages, traditions, and ways of seeing the world! 🌍

Because understanding doesn’t come from reading about a culture, it comes from sharing a meal, getting lost in a new city, and realizing how much we have in common with people we just met, together! 🫂

What happens when hundreds of different opinions meet in one room? 😓

One of AEGEE’s aims is Forum for Discussion: creating a space where young Europeans can exchange different points of view and find common ground, together 🫂
Through Interest Groups, Conferences, and General Assemblies like Agora, AEGEE brings students face to face with perspectives different from their own!

Because progress doesn’t come from everyone agreeing, It comes from people willing to listen, question, and build something better, together 🤝

AEGEE at the EU Youth Stakeholders Group Meeting! 🇧🇪

We were in Brussels representing the voice of European students at the 4th EU Youth Stakeholders Group Meeting! Major updates are coming for youth policies, and AEGEE was at the table to make sure student voices are heard. ✊✨

Here are the main topics we discussed:

🛑 Quality Jobs Act & Youth Check: We explored how the upcoming Quality Jobs Act to be proposed by the end of this year can do its absolute best to represent and protect the youth as they enter the changing job market.

🔄 The Future of EU Youth Dialogue: We discussed the future of the EU Youth Dialogue, focusing on how we can make young people feel closer to it and what the creation of the next series of European Youth Goals should look like!

💡 Education & Civic Skills: With growing challenges in schools and rapid AI integration, digital tools are nothing without a human-centered approach. Non-formal education and youth work remain the best spaces to learn about critical thinking and active citizenship!

Now it’s time to bring these discussions back to our network. The future of youth policy is built from the ground up! 🚀

What skills will help you navigate the jungle of life? 🤔

One of AEGEE’s focus areas is Personal Development & Non-Formal Education: creating spaces where young people can learn, grow, and discover their potential beyond traditional classrooms.
Through trainings, workshops, exchanges, and learning experiences, AEGEE empowers students to develop essential skills!

🌱 Because surviving the challenges of today’s world requires more than knowledge from books. It requires curiosity, resilience, and the ability to learn from every experience.
