Het welzijn van (kans)arme kinderen hier en nu is onze ‘core business’. Om kinderen snel en efficiënt te helpen ondersteunen we moeders/families waar we kunnen in hun dagelijkse strijd tegen armoede en uitsluiting. Sinds december 2003 is NASCI operationeel en werkt het voor het Brusselse Hoofdstedelijke Gewest. We zijn gehuisvest in een mooi pand in Schaarbeek. NASCI reikt kansarme en hulpbehoeven
de zwangere vrouwen, alleenstaande moeders en families, die door omstandigheden tijdelijk of structureel niet meer in het levensonderhoud van hun kinderen en zichzelf kunnen voorzien, een helpende hand in hun strijd tegen armoede en uitsluiting. NASCI wil er zijn voor de meest kwetsbaren in onze samenleving. We kunnen niet vermijden dat mensen in armoede leven. Wel kunnen we hoogstnodige behoeften lenigen voor de kinderen en voorwaarden scheppen waaronder mensen kunnen leren hoe armoede te bestrijden. Vraag elke hulpbehoevende waar hij het meeste nood aan heeft. Het antwoord is steevast hetzelfde! Basisbehoeften komen altijd eerst! De rest volgt en laat dat nu net onze sterkste troef zijn. Concrete materiële hulp voor kinderen, informatie en specifieke begeleiding is wat deze mensen vooral nodig hebben. En dat krijgen ze! AANDACHT is hier het sleutelwoord! NASCI heeft als doelstelling het bestrijden van armoede en sociale uit-sluiting, het aanbieden van informatie en ondersteuning op sociaal-maatschappelijk en opvoedkundig gebied.

FR: NASCI est une organisation autonome et pluraliste où l'origine ethnique et la philosophie de vie ne jouent aucun rôle. Le bien-être des enfants pauvres (d'opportunité) ici et maintenant est notre activité principale. Afin d'aider les enfants rapidement et efficacement, nous soutenons les mères/familles dans la mesure du possible dans leur lutte quotidienne contre la pauvreté et l'exclusion. Depuis décembre 2003, NASCI est opérationnel et travaille pour la Région de Bruxelles-Capitale. Nous sommes installés dans un beau bâtiment à Schaerbeek. NASCI s'adresse aux femmes enceintes défavorisées et dans le besoin, aux mères célibataires et aux familles qui, en raison des circonstances, sont temporairement ou structurellement incapables de subvenir à leurs besoins et à ceux de leurs enfants, dans leur lutte contre la pauvreté et l'exclusion. NASCI veut être là pour les personnes les plus vulnérables de notre société. Nous ne pouvons pas empêcher les gens de vivre dans la pauvreté. Ce que nous pouvons faire, en revanche, c'est répondre aux besoins urgents des enfants et créer des conditions dans lesquelles les gens peuvent apprendre à lutter contre la pauvreté. Demandez à toute personne dans le besoin ce dont elle a le plus besoin. La réponse est invariablement la même ! Les besoins fondamentaux passent toujours en premier ! Le reste suit, et que cela soit notre meilleur atout. Une aide matérielle concrète pour les enfants, des informations et des conseils spécifiques sont ce dont ces personnes ont le plus besoin. Et c'est ce qu'ils obtiennent ! L'ATTENTION est le mot clé ici ! L'objectif de NASCI est de lutter contre la pauvreté et l'exclusion sociale, d'offrir des informations et un soutien dans le domaine social et éducatif.

ENG: NASCI is an autonomous, pluralistic organization where ethnicity and philosophy of life play no role. The wellbeing of (opportunity) poor children here and now is our core business. In order to help children quickly and efficiently, we support mothers/families where we can in their daily struggle against poverty and exclusion. Since December 2003, NASCI is operational and works for the Brussels Capital Region. We are housed in a beautiful building in Schaarbeek. NASCI reaches out to underprivileged and needy pregnant women, single mothers and families who, due to circumstances, are temporarily or structurally unable to provide for their children and themselves, in their fight against poverty and exclusion. NASCI wants to be there for the most vulnerable in our society. We cannot prevent people from living in poverty. However, we can alleviate much-needed needs for children and create conditions in which people can learn how to fight poverty. Ask any person in need what they need most. The answer is invariably the same! Basic needs always come first! The rest follows and let that be our strongest asset. Concrete material help for children, information and specific guidance is what these people need most of all. And that is what they get! Attention is the key word here! NASCI's objective is to fight poverty and social exclusion, offering information and support in the social and educational field.
