💬 What do YOU as a VET learner get from the project?
GreenSkills Connect is creating a VET curriculum connected to real green-sector needs, so learning leads to skills that employers actually look for.

What’s coming:
🌱 practical green skills linked to occupations and employability
📱 digital micro-learning resources that support VET learning (short, clear, useful)
🤝 stronger links between VET providers and companies (closing the skills mismatch)
🚀 better preparation for entry-level opportunities in the green sector

Next steps & launch info soon. 🔜

The project is co-funded by the European Union.

📲 This week, Connect International attended another webinar organised by the European Digital Education Hub (EDEH) 🌐, presenting the updated Guidelines for Teachers and Educators on Tackling Disinformation and Promoting Digital Literacy through Education and Training.

The session explored how educators can build disinformation resilience in the classroom, covering topics such as identifying propaganda, recognising deepfakes, addressing cyberbullying, and approaching Generative AI critically and responsibly 🤖. The Guidelines also include concrete recommendations for school leaders and policymakers at local, regional, and central level.

Strengthening digital literacy and critical thinking in education is central to building a more informed and rights-aware society a goal that sits at the heart of Connect International's mission.💙

This week, a representative from Connect International attended the webinar presenting the updated publication Guidelines on the Ethical Use of Artificial Intelligence and Data in Teaching and Learning for Educators.🎓🌐
The discussion explored how teachers and schools across the EU can embrace AI responsibly, navigating both the exciting opportunities and real challenges that generative AI has brought since 2022. 📚
The European AI Act (2024) and GDPR were also front and centre, shaping how schools must think about AI tools going forward. ⚖️
📅 By early June, the guidelines will be available in all EU languages, alongside a guide on how to integrate media literacy in primary and secondary schools, two publications we'll be watching closely! 🌐

MEDIA project had it’s Kick off meeting!🇮🇹✨

The MEDIA project is all about empowering higher education through media literacy innovations - equipping students and educators with the skills to navigate today’s digital world. A big part of this journey is the close collaboration between partners to create meaningful change in the educational landscape.

The Transnational Meeting recently took place in the beautiful city of Macerata, Italy, hosted by the University of Macerata. Partners gathered to review our progress and fine-tune the next steps of this exciting project.

As a result of this two-day meeting, several key steps were coordinated, such as:
📍Reviewed the progress of project activities and ongoing work packages
📍Discussed next steps for the development of training content and learning materials
📍Addressed project management, quality assurance, and risk management aspects
📍Coordinated future activities, including staff training and mobility actions
📍Shared updates on communication and dissemination efforts

Stay tuned as we continue to shape the future of media literacy in higher education across Europe! 🚀
