Our Board Member Elle, along with our colleagues Jules and Arlo, were also delighted to meet with Soudeh, from our Member Organisation .ngo.

Our friends at have recently released a powerful new toolkit to build transfeminist solidarity through messaging! 🗣️🏳️‍⚧️

Across Europe and beyond, feminist movements are facing intensified attacks on women’s and LGBTI people’s rights. TGEU’s toolkit provides a detailed analysis of language, arguments and messaging, grounded in research and input from TGEU partners and member organisations across Europe.

At a time when we need each other more than ever, solidarity is not optional, but strategic.

This International S*x Workers’ Day, IGLYO stands in solidarity with s*x workers globally—in particular our trans, BIPOC, migrant, refugee, and asylum-seeking siblings across the globe 💜

Each year, International S*x Workers’ Day commemorates the historic occupation of Église Saint-Nizier in Lyon, France, where over 100 s*x workers took a stand against inhumane conditions. That act of solidarity sparked a national strike and remains a powerful reminder that our community is stronger together.

Join us in demanding inclusive rights for all s*x workers and decriminalising s*x work everywhere! 🤝

This Saturday 30 May at 10-12 CEST, join the online launch event of the European Competence Centre on Inclusive, Meaningful, Safe and Ethical Child Participation. 🖥️

Co-organised by and partners, this event marks an important milestone for our joint work under the Inclusive Child Participation Networks project, which IGLYO is an inclusion partner of.

The event will formally introduce the Competence Centre as a European hub bringing together knowledge, tools, methodologies and tested practices on child participation.

The launch will bring together children, practitioners, civil society organisations, public authorities and European level stakeholders. Children will play an active role throughout the event, sharing their perspectives alongside adults.

LGBTQI young people experiencing intersecting forms of marginalisation report higher instances of depression and anxiety❗

This is one of our most critical findings from our latest IGLYO Report “LGBTQI Youth Mental Health in the Spotlight”.

Many factors contribute to further marginalisation, significantly increasing the risk of poor mental health outcomes:

🔸 Racialisation
🔸 Migration status
🔸 Religion
🔸 Socio-economic disadvantage
🔸 Legal status
🔸 Housing insecurity

Understanding these overlapping challenges is essential for creating inclusive support systems.

Last week, our Deputy Executive Director and Advocacy Manager Rú and Giulia Bianchini, Senior Project Officer at the Council of Europe, presented our upcoming Toolkit on Inclusive Education at the in Copenhagen, Denmark. 🇩🇰🌈

Developed as a collaboration between IGLYO and the Council of Europe, the new Toolkit will support safer, more inclusive and more democratic education systems across Europe with three tools respectively providing policy guidance on addressing anti-LGBTQI bullying in schools, guidance on countering anti-rights discourse in education, and a framework for a training module on SOGIESC for educators.

Our IGLYO Member .global and the ***r have released their 2025 Annual Report on the Life of LGBTQI People in Russia 🇷🇺

This year’s report highlights how LGBTQI lives are systemically under attack in Russia.

Based on answers from over 6,000 LGBTQI people across the country, this is the most comprehensive annual dataset available. It includes data on healthcare, censorship, violence and hate crimes, emigration, and other key indicators.

*xual and was born on social media in 2015 through the initiative of LGBTQI activists. It centers on awareness, education, and fighting stigma for pan experiences.
