📣 FINAL CALL 📣
Last days to apply for the opportunity to host a string quartet or piano trio at your historic house!
🌟 Don't miss the chance to organise an artistic residency with the MERITAcubed project!
⏰ Deadline: January 16th
📞 Answer the call for historic houses! Join the MERITAcubed network and take the opportunity to host a 5-day creative residency at your historic house!
🎶 Building on the success of the MERITA project, led by Le Dimore del Quartetto, EHH is taking part in its second edition and opening up for both string quartets and piano trios across Europe to further their creative careers all the while providing open concerts as a thank you to their hosting houses.
🎻 Make your historic house a living space of culture! By joining the network, you’ll help increase the visibility and mobility of talented chamber music ensembles while promoting European cultural heritage.
🏰 To be eligible as host, the house should provide the musicians with 4-5 beds, access to a kitchen, and an adequate room for rehearsal - including a piano if hosting a piano trio. Residencies will take place between December 2026 – November 2027, apply by January 2026!
In return, you will have the opportunity to promote your house on the MERITA platform, host the creative development of an original project by a string quartet or piano trio and their first public concert, strengthen your house’s role within this international cultural network, and receive a contribution to help cover hosting expenses.
📍 MERITAcubed operates with considerable flexibility! Residency requests are always optional for the Houses, and each time an ensemble expresses interest, the House owner is consulted to confirm hosting availability. However, at least one residency must be provided.
