⚙️ ISTO in Action
On Tuesday 23 June at 4pm (CET), the working group on ‘Public Policies for the Social Sustainability of Tourism’, facilitated by Coralie Marti (ATES (Association pour le Tourisme Equitable et Solidaire), France), will meet to discuss the role of social sustainability in tourism policies.
In a context where environmental transition dominates public policies, this webinar examines current policy trade-offs and future decisions. It invites reflection on the place given to social sustainability in tourism policies and the conditions needed to ensure access to holidays for all.
With contributions from Francisca Retamal (Sernatur, Chile) and Betty Rech (Acteurs du Tourisme Durable - ATD, France), this session will propose concrete ways to reposition social issues at the heart of public policy.
