👩‍💻Online Seminar: Festivals as Ecosystems of Care

How can festivals create the conditions for more caring, sustainable and meaningful cultural practice?🫂

In this online seminar, cultural manager, psychological counselor and existential coach Mahir Namur will present Festivals as Ecosystems of Care, a conceptual reader developed within the EU FEAST - Festive Pathways to a Sustainable Tomorrow project, as a training resource for festival professionals.

The session will introduce a care-oriented and existential perspective on festival management, looking at how purpose, relationships, organisational conditions, power, participation and sustainability are connected within the wider festival ecosystem.

Janáček Brno Festival 2026: The Jubilee Celebration 🌟 🎼

This year Festival Janáček Brno will celebrate their 10th edition, under the motto “Roots.” To mark this occasion, the festival will present a new project, where for the first time audiences can experience the complete operatic works of Leoš Janáček, tracing his journey from early compositions to his most mature masterpieces.

Staged by the Janáček Opera Company of the National Theatre Brno, the ensemble will be joined by international soloists in leading roles, alongside renowned foreign orchestras and conductors, making this an unforgettable celebration of music, heritage, and artistic excellence.

The GIFT - Georgian International Festival of Arts in Tbilisi returns for its 29th season, bringing together acclaimed works and new artistic voices from Georgia and around the world. 🎭

For nearly three decades, GIFT has created a space where local and international artists meet, exchange ideas and explore new ways of seeing the world through theatre and the arts.

From October to November 2026, the festival will continue this tradition in Tbilisi, bringing Georgian artistic experiences into dialogue with international perspectives and new ideas.

This year, GIFT also marks the 105th anniversary of the birth of Mikhail Tumanishvili, celebrating the legacy of one of Georgia’s most influential theatre figures through a special project.

In just a few days, Prisma / Art Light Tech by Teatro Aveirense, will take over the streets of Aveiro, filling the city with light, colour and imagination.

New Deal returns to the Philharmonie de Paris from 26 - 28 October 2026, offering international music professionals the opportunity to discover the French music sector and connect with key stakeholders, and our EFA France Festivals and REMA - EEMN are among the organisers! 🙏

New Deal is an annual professional event dedicated to the challenges of distribution in the heritage and creative music sector, aiming to promote cooperation and reflection around the big issues of the industry. Three days of exchanges, meetings and networking around great debates on current cultural and musical policies, round tables and speed-meetings.

In the programme, there will be two sessiond dedicated to festivals prepared by our members.
