and are about more than preparing people for jobs. They are also about cultivating respect and care for our , understanding the value of our natural resources, and recognising our shared responsibility to protect rather than exploit the Earth.
At EfVET, we believe that Vocational Education and Training plays a crucial role in shaping not only skilled professionals, but also responsible citizens who can contribute to a more sustainable future.
This commitment is reflected in several of our European projects:
πΏ ENNEPlus promotes eco-innovation and strengthens VET networks to empower local communities to drive sustainable change.
β‘ MiCRET supports the development of microcredentials for Renewable Energy Technicians, helping learners acquire the skills needed to advance Europe's clean energy transition.
πΎ I-RESTART fosters reskilling and upskilling in the agrifood and veterinary sectors, supporting greener practices, sustainable food systems and the transition towards a more environmentally conscious economy.
π With SpaceSUITE, we promote advanced training in the area of earth observation, to use satellites and space tools to increase quality and care of agriculture, forestry, and in general natural resources.
Together, these initiatives demonstrate how education can inspire action, encourage responsible use of resources, and equip people with the skills and values needed to build a greener and more sustainable Europe.
π Because protecting our planet starts with learning how to care for it.
We would also like to invite you to βMade in Rural Europeβ, the RURAL RiSE Final Event in Brussels, organised by our member Materahub.
