About yesterday 🤩

06/10/2026

This morning, world 🌍 and European 🇪🇺medalists in Olympic and Paralympic disciplines were invited to the Château de Laeken by the royal couple.

It was an opportunity to speak with Their Majesties the King and the Queen 👑 and to celebrate their achievements on the international stage 👏

Meet emblems! 👀

The Brisbane 2032 emblems are inspired by the spirited cockatoo – a symbol of Australia’s unique wildlife and Queensland’s playful heart 🇦🇺
The cockatoo’s crest is a living torch, reminiscent of the iconic Olympic and Paralympic flames 🔥

What do you think of it? We are pretty fans of these vibrant colors and spirit 😊

🥉 Bronze for Sam de Visser!

What a race in the 400m Freestyle (S9) at the European Para Swimming Championships in Kocaeli! 🇪🇺🏊

The battle for the medals was incredibly tight, with all three medalists pushing each other from start to finish. As a result, in addition to this second international medal, Sam also gets a new PB on this event ⏱👏

Congrats Sam and Belgian Team! 🙌

In the final races of the Para Cycling World Championships, we fought like lions. 🦁

Our lioness came incredibly close to a medal at her very first World Championships. What a debut. 👊

And now, as we wrap up this incredible mission, we’re heading home with three medals, two world champions, unforgettable moments, and a rocket full of experiences that will fuel the journey ahead. 🚀

We gave it everything. We fought until the very last meter. We pushed beyond our limits. 🥇🥇🥉

Mission accomplished 🇺🇸🌈
