WAJIBU is an initiative of people of various national origins, women and men, young and old, whose wish is to participate in the development of the Great Lakes region in particular in Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania, under the theme of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). By this we mean the corporate’s contribution to challenges of sustainable developme

nt in the region. We believe that the private sector has a duty to address the challenges not only faced by its own companies but also those faced by the entire local population. It entitles, however, not only corporate social responsibility but also the responsibility of other local or international actors, focusing on the engine of any society; the youth .
