US Tax Updates for Americans living in Belgium
October 20th from 6.30 - 8:30PM

Are you an American living in Belgium with questions about filing your U.S. taxes?

Join us for an informative session with Carl Mir of Mir Tax Services and Brian Dunhill of Dunhill Financial. Both Carl and Brian are Americans who previously lived in Belgium and have a wealth of firsthand experience and expertise in the specific tax issues facing U.S. citizens here. They will also cover the key changes to the tax code over the past few years.

🇺🇸🇧🇪 Honoring America’s Heroes 🇧🇪🇺🇸

Last week, several members of the American Club Board, along with a few of our retired military service members, were honored to attend the U.S. Embassy’s deeply moving “Honoring America’s Heroes” ceremony at the Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, where nearly 8,000 American service members are laid to rest. 🕊️

Hosted by Ambassador Bill White, the ceremony paid tribute to three remarkable World War II veterans and centenarians: Frank Stellar (102), Truman Christian (101), and Russell Sattazahn (100). Their service helped liberate Belgium and Europe. 🎖️

It was especially poignant to see them recognized by His Majesty King Philippe, alongside the Belgian Prime Minister and other senior Belgian political leaders. 👑 We were also delighted to meet Helen Patton, granddaughter of General George S. Patton! ⭐

Grateful for the chance to honor those who gave so much for our freedom. 🙏

The American Club of Brussels invites you to our annual Thanksgiving Cocktail & Dinner, a beloved tradition and a true taste of home.

Gather around the international table with fellow members, friends, and family for an evening of good food, great company, and plenty to be thankful for. Whether you're a longtime member or new to the Club, you'll be warmly welcomed. The cocktail hour starts at 7pm followed by dinner at 8pm. Each table of 8 people gets 1-2 whole turkeys (depending on the size of the turkeys) to carve at their table - and we provide "doggie bags" to take some home!
