7 October is Walk (& Roll) to School Day 🎒🚶🧑‍🦽

Walking, cycling or rolling to school is a great way to start building healthier and more sustainable mobility habits from an early age.

Just in 2025, 1 in 4 activities took place at primary or secondary schools 🏫

And younger generations also played a key role in 2026 with activities like pedestrian school buses, road-safety workshops and other school-focused initiatives.

Safer routes to school can give children more independence while helping create streets that work better for everyone 💙
