EBAN is the pan-European representative for the early stage investor gathering over 150 member organizations more than 50 countries today. Established in 1999 by a group of pioneer angel networks in Europe with the collaboration of the European Commission and EURADA, EBAN represents a sector estimated to invest 7.5 billion Euros a year and playing a vital role in Europe’s future, notably in the funding of SMEs. EBAN fuels Europe’s growth through the creation of wealth and jobs.

Two years ago, we joined a mission to change the odds for women in deep tech and empower them✨

As the Women TechEU (2024-2026) programme comes to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect on what this journey has meant, not just as a consortium partner, but as an organisation that genuinely believes diverse founders build a strong European innovation ecosystem 💜

The numbers speak for themselves: 160 women-led startups supported, €12M invested, and €56M+ raised in follow-on funding. Every euro invested helped generate at least 4.5 more!

Excited to announce that the 2nd Paediatric Investment Forum (PIF) 2026 will take place in Helsinki on 17 September 2026🚀

Co-organised by COMB MedAngels, i4KIDS Paediatric Innovation Hub, Montana Children's Health, The Child Lens, and HUS Helsingin yliopistollinen sairaala together with the New Children’s Hospital Foundation, and supported by Finnish Business Angels Network (FiBAN) as collaborator, the forum will bring together startups, investors, clinicians and innovation leaders working to advance paediatric and maternal health.

The programme will feature opening remarks, a keynote on impact investing in paediatrics, pitches from six companies, dedicated startup–investor networking, and a networking cocktail.
