๐ข Earlier today, the newly elected GFMD Steering Committee convened at in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for its first official meeting, marking the start of its 2025-2029 term.
During its first meeting, the Steering Committee elected a ๐ง๐๐ฐ ๐๐ฑ๐๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ๐ญ๐๐ to lead the network for the 2025โ2029 term:
๐ท Chair: ุฑูุงู ุงูุถุงู
ู Rawan Damen, Director General, Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism - ARIJ
๐ท Deputy Chair: Laxman Datt Pant, Executive Director, Media Action Nepal
๐ท Treasurer: Caroline Vuillemin, General Director, Fondation Hirondelle
Both GFMDโs newly elected Chairperson, Rawan Damen, and outgoing Chairperson, Zoรฉ Titus, shared reflections on the achievements of the past term and their hopes for the coming years.
