Based on Planet Earth
-often navigating around a place called Belgium- Yentl operates as a skilled provider of evocative music and is known for crafting selections that are both thoughtful and boundary-pushing.

Her journey spans over 15 years of dedication to uncovering and sharing emotive sounds
across an eclectic range of genres, from groovy acid house, electro, spaced-out techno and minimal to disco, dubtechno, downtempo and jazz. Yentl honors music as a powerful tool of expression and connection by collaborating with artists and collectives who embody a genuine passion and distinctive approach to electronic music. In recent years, she performed for prominent concepts and clubs across Europe and beyond, including Waking Life, Giegling,Funk CDMX, Refuge Worldwide, SinXCensura and Crevette Records

• As a resident of the intimate nightclub Funke in Ghent, she crafts profound dance floor
moments, allowing music to speak for itself through carefully curated selections that generate compelling energies and progressions. Beyond the club, Yentl extends her passion for curation as a resident of Gimic Radio, where she highlights talented artists who embody her ethos of music as a transformative art form.

With her own project ‘Odd Occurrence’, she focuses on presenting deep and peculiar sounds while nurturing an authentic underground. Always open to exploring new ways to integrate other artistic means of expression, Odd Occurrence remains a quest to deepen collective experiences through electronic music.🎧

‼️Next to our exhibition, and after party, our Event 28.10-31.10 also hosts a very special workshop. And not just any workshop, but:

Mapping Margins🔀
How can we map beyond margins?
Modern cartography is rooted in systems of abstraction and control: dividing land into grids, fixing borders, and framing the world through extractive, colonial, and human-centered lenses. In this session, we ask: what would it mean to map otherwise?

Through collective drawing exercises, we will explore mapping not as neutral or objective, but as always political, always entangled. Together, we will imagine maps that refuse imposed boundaries, that embrace multiplicity, uncertainty, and the more-than-human.

We will ask who and what has been excluded from dominant cartographies, and experiment with feminist, multi-species practices of mapping that move us toward more fluid and co-created ways of seeing.

Time to get to know the Artist behind for our exhibition a the named: We Will Not Go Back to the Margins.

Matti Studio is a q***r, trans, intersectional artist and activist who paints between the edges of chaos and release. Their work unravels and reconstructs bodies -human and non-human - through raw forms that bleed, stretch and resist containment. Matti Studio gets inspired at the intersection of q***rness, ecology and liberation and seeks to visualize the duality in life; tenderness and rage, chaos and care, love and hate.

Next to their art, Matti will co-host a workshop on Saturday, guide a live-painting session where everyone can join and host the reading and poetry circle on Sunday 31st of August. 🫂

Want see their art in real life, or join for any of these activities? Just drop by or send us a pm, and embrace Matti‘s creativity. We surely do 💙

Thank you everyone for coming and immersing in the thought-provoking documentary about GECO, a true legend of European Bombing.
It was particularly cool to see that this film touched graffiti heads and people without any background in the field, alike. Whether it was the political and societal implications of their art, or simply their insane output, dedication and techniques, everyone had loads to discuss after the documentary ended. 🗣️

Special thanks to:
for hosting, food and drinks
for the music
for co-organising

And all the volunteers, guests and everyone making it…

P.S. Keep your eyes open around the city, it seems that Art often appears without any warning 🖼️

22/04/2025

THE ART OF DISOBEDIENCE is an adrenaline-filled journey into the world of graffiti writing through the eyes of Geco, one of the most famous and prolific writers in Europe. With extraordinary obstinacy and an unmistakable style, he transformed his art into an act of defiance against rules and social conventions.

Through never-seen-before images and breathttaking shots, the film takes us through the streets and up to the highest peaks of Rome (and beyond), retracing the key moments of the absurd manhunt of which the artist was the protagonist. His identification in Rome in 2020 unleashed an unprecedented media storm, dividing public opinion and reigniting the debate on the very concept of art. Who decides what is art and what is degradation?

THE ART OF DISOBEDIENCE is an invitation to look beyond appearances, to discover the power of disobedience and to question the meaning of freedom.

GECO, Love Foundation & Espace Vanhomwegen warmly invite you to a special evening dedicated to street art, graffiti, music, and discussions around the all-encompassing question: What is art, what is vandalism, and who gets to decide?
