We are delighted to welcome 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗼𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗹, 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗹'𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗼𝗻-𝗮𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗯𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆, as the newest Protector Member of the CCBP.

🍹 With roots dating back to 1945 and built on the successful merger of two iconic Portuguese companies — Sumol and Compal — Sumol Compal has become 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗹'𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀, bringing together a unique heritage of 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁. 🚀 🇵🇹 Aos 18 anos, Lua Afonso acaba de conquistar um reconhecimento internacional que coloca o talento português em destaque no setor espacial.

A jovem portuguesa foi distinguida com o Anita Gale Visionary Leadership Award, um dos mais prestigiados prémios atribuídos na final internacional do International Space Settlement Design Competition (ISSDC), considerada a principal competição mundial de engenharia espacial para estudantes.

Selecionada entre 23.919 participantes de todo o mundo, Lua destacou-se pela sua excelência técnica, capacidade de liderança, visão estratégica e trabalho em equipas internacionais para responder a desafios complexos de engenharia espacial. 🌍✨

🤝 The Belgian-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce extends its sincere gratitude to 𝗥𝘂𝗶 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹𝗼 𝗔𝗹𝗺𝗮𝘀 for his outstanding service as 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗴𝗶𝘂𝗺, 𝗟𝘂𝘅𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗴 & 𝗘𝗨 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀 at AICEP.

Throughout his tenure, Rui Paulo Almas has been a 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 and a 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 in strengthening the economic and business relationship between Portugal, Belgium and Luxembourg. His commitment to promoting Portuguese companies, fostering bilateral trade and investment, and advancing Portugal's interests within the European institutions has left a 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁.

⚡ Belgian engineering triumphs at the Electrek American Solar Challenge!

🌞 KU Leuven's Innoptus Solar Team made history on Saturday by becoming the first European team ever to win the race.

🏁 Driving their solar car Infinite Apollo, the students covered more than 4,000 km from Minneapolis to Amarillo, following parts of the iconic Route 66.

🏆 It's another major achievement for a team that has already claimed world titles in Australia and victories across Europe, Chile, and South Africa.
