Democracy is shaped by those who choose to take part. 📣🌎

These reflections from young people show that active citizenship starts with speaking up, sharing ideas, questioning what we see and hear, and taking responsibility for the communities we live in.

You can make your voice heard and help shape democracy, starting with local actions, everyday choices, and conversations that bring people together.

📣Students and young people must be at the heart of the Pact for the Mediterranean. 🤝

ESN welcomes the new Action Plan and calls for stronger student representation, better recognition of mobility experiences, and a greater role for youth organisations in shaping the future of the Mediterranean region.

From higher education cooperation to talent mobility and youth participation, we believe young people should be active partners in the decisions that affect them.

Studying abroad is exciting, but it’s not always easy.

We want to hear your side of the story: the ups, the downs, the in-betweens.

If you’ve done Erasmus+ (or are about to), tell us about the mental and emotional challenges you've faced.

Your answers will help the Mobile Minds in Motion project develop practical tools for real students:
➡️self-assessment tools for mental well-being
➡️practical guides for stress and anxiety
➡️training and recommendations for university staff
➡️podcast and videos with tips and tricks on resilience-building

The survey is anonymous, and your voice will directly shape how Erasmus students’ mental health is supported in the future.

What skills turn a volunteer into a changemaker❓👀

During EGM Split 2026, we asked you to capture what makes you more than a volunteer, the skills, values, and experiences that help you create change in your community.

Because changemaking does not happen overnight. It grows through the skills we build, the communities we support, and the actions we choose to take.
