Presenting Gabrielle & Lieven
Gaby and Lieven have known each other for 15 years, and you can feel it the moment you walk into their studio. Together they created Saparpa, a tattoo studio shaped by friendship, great style and a shared love for ink 🖋️
Gabrielle ( ) has a signature flow in her work: delicate lines, abstract or figurative forms, always infused with her poetic, intentional way of looking at things. With creativity and care, she turns each tattoo session into an immersive experience, a collaborative process.
Lieven ( ) is the one who brings art history to the skin. He reinterprets classical works with a contemporary twist, mixing soft colours and gradients with precise geometric shapes. The results are thoughtful and modern, like giving old masterpieces a second life.
Their story started back in secondary school, where they were already dreaming up projects during art class. They studied side by side, then wandered off into different directions for a while.
In 2021, everything aligned again. They opened their Brussels tattoo shop, and in 2024 they moved it into Palazzo. Saparpa is a space that feels like them: warm, creative, welcoming, and the culmination of a story built together since their teenage years.
