On International Peace Day, we wish to reaffirm our ironclad commitment to peace all around the world. Now more than ever, democratic forces need to stand together in a concerted effort for peace. We will strive toward this goal in all the ways we can and support others in this regard!🕊️

As we mark the 25th anniversary of 9/11, we remember those who lost their lives on that terrible day. Of course, the victims are first and foremost the people who died in the attacks themselves. In addition, we wish to pay tribute to the people who lost their lives in the aftermath, including from the toxic air quality and related health effects.

To make sure their memory is not in vain, we must continue to stand strong against efforts to divide our societies today. Rather than fear and division, we must pursue courage and partnership. That is why we reaffirm our ironclad commitment to spreading peace and unity in all the ways we can.

Yesterday, in the framework of the EPP Group-European Parliament Youth Week, our Chairman Francesco Sismondini participated in a panel discussion in the European Parliament. Echoing President Manfred Weber , our Chairman rightfully reminded the audience that we must not fall into the trap of mindless populism, an ideology with a single, destructive purpose: to divide our communities, dismantle our progress, and stoke the flames of hatred. Our political movement must lead by example and redefine how digital platforms serve democracy: not as instruments of division, but as powerful tools to empower our citizens, foster genuine debate, and bring people together back in the public square. That is the spirit that will guide our work as we go forward! 💪
