The following day, the European Parliament will vote on a proposal that could weaken EU rules on new genetically modified organisms (NGTs).
If approved, key safeguards could disappear:
โ No risk assessment
โ No protection against genetic contamination
โ No liability rules
โ No GMO labels for consumers
For beekeepers, farmers, breeders and citizens, transparency matters.
That's why BeeLife supports the demonstration taking place in Strasbourg on 16 June and will be represented by our member organisation Union Nationale de l'Apiculture Franรงaise
