The European Jewish Community Centre hosts events and provides multi-lingual services and resources to officials and civil servants of the European Institutions. Our programs are designed to strengthen Jewish identity and understanding of Jewish culture to the wider community. The EJCC nourishes a community that is respectful and sensitive to diversity. Our Centre, located in the EU Jewish Building, is positioned in the heart of the European Union, enabling us to establish a strong presence at the Institutions and share our rich heritage with the entire community.

Today, we were delighted to welcome François Moyse and Victor Sorensen from the European Association for the Preservation and Promotion of Jewish Culture and Heritage (AEPJ) to Atid House.

We look forward to working together as Atid House brings two thousand years of Jewish history to life through meaningful, living experiences.

A European Flag for the Atid House

We were honored to welcome Katharina von Schnurbein, European Commission Coordinator on Combating Antisemitism and Fostering Jewish Life, who presented Atid House with a European flag and joined us in inaugurating it at the House.

The flag is a meaningful symbol of the Europe we are building together: a Europe where there is a place for everyone, where everyone is respected for who they are, and where Jewish life is an integral and thriving part of our shared European future.

This week, we had the opportunity to participate at the TikkunTech EU Hackathon in Brussels, an initiative focused on combating antisemitism and fostering Jewish life through technology and innovation.

It was inspiring to discover projects with the potential to create real and lasting impact in our communities and in society at large.

Seeing talented people turn ideas into concrete solutions was a powerful reminder of what can happen when leadership, technology, creativity and social responsibility come together.
