The first day of our ‘Building an Architecture of Inclusion’ conference brings together European ministers, policymakers from the European Parliament and European Commission, self-advocates, civil society leaders and experts to discuss one shared ambition: How can we build a Europe designed for everyone?

Together, our opening sessions will explore:
• How European cooperation can turn rights into everyday reality.
• How to create workplaces where people with disabilities can thrive.
• How AI and assistive technologies can drive inclusion in everyday life.
• How to build inclusive education that supports the growth of every learner.
• How to create communities where everyone feels welcome.

Digital tools can create new ways to learn, as long as professionals know how to use them.

The Beyond Digits training materials teach professionals how to use the project’s digital tools to increase the financial literacy skills of neurodivergent adults. The materials combine visual aids, worksheets, real-life scenarios, a 3D educational game and a mobile money management app.

Take part in EASPD’s survey on waiting times and waiting lists for disability support services.

Across Europe, many people with disabilities face long waits to access the support and services they need. To better understand the scale, causes and impact of this challenge, EASPD is conducting a study in collaboration with Agile Development Consulting.

We are inviting disability service providers and other stakeholders to share their experiences and insights. The findings will help map waiting lists across Europe, identify gaps in service provision and challenges related to access and eligibility criteria.

📝 The survey takes approximately 10-12 minutes to complete.
📅 Deadline: 28 August

This October, EASPD is celebrating 30 years of dedication to improving support for people with disabilities.

Over three decades, we've been working alongside our members to advance the delivery of support that enables people with disabilities to live their lives as they want in their community. Yet there is still much to build.

This anniversary is more than a celebration of our past; it's also a look ahead to what we want to go next.

Between 5-7 October, we will come together to reflect on what has been achieved, unveil our new name, and explore how we can together build the Architecture of Inclusion for the years ahead.

We hope you will be part of this milestone. Find out more here: https://www.easpdconference.eu/

Thousands of children arrive in Europe alone every year.

Guardians are often the first adults who can help them feel like children again. But these guardians are often overloaded, under-trained and burning out. And when a child has a disability or is living with trauma, these challenges can be larger.

Join us in Brussels on 1 September to hear from children, guardians and decision-makers, and to see the recommendations we've developed for stronger guardianship across Europe.

Managing money doesn't need to be complicated and the project has the tools to support neurodivergent adults to build real financial independence.

Their 3D Digital Game puts players in charge of a virtual household, where they can balance their income with essential costs and make choices about leisure spending. Every decision builds financial skills in a fun, accessible way.

The Mobile App brings that learning into daily life, allowing users to track income, plan purchases and monitor spending through an inclusive design.

You can download both tools via the project’s website: www.beyonddigits.eu/project-results

Registrations for our next conference are open!

Join us in Brussels from 5 to 7 October as we explore how to build an Architecture of Inclusion across Europe and celebrate 30 years of EASPD. 🎂

The world around us is in constant change, and our societies are struggling to meet the evolving needs of people and communities. How can we ensure that everyday life is designed for everyone?

For EASPD, the answer is by building an Architecture of Inclusion. Our three-day conference will explore how we can create the policies, systems and standards that give people with disabilities the same choices and opportunities as everyone else.
