A Future Classroom Lab can be much more than a room full of technology. đź’ˇ

In Slovenia’s Zasavje region, it is becoming part of a much bigger effort to help a former coal-mining region build a new future.

Through the PREPLET project, teachers will have a Learning Hub where they can learn, discover and innovate. Pupils will develop skills linked to digitalisation, the green transition and entrepreneurship. And schools are working together with universities, businesses, municipalities and community organisations.

On World Students’ Day, CyberKind highlights the importance of putting children and young people at the centre of efforts to prevent cyberbullying.

Understanding how young people experience online interactions is essential — but so is giving them the social and emotional skills to navigate those experiences, support their peers and build positive relationships online.

Through its SEL learning programme and peer-to-peer tools, CyberKind will empower students to play an active role in tackling cyberbullying within their school communities.
