The ITUC welcomes the Advisory Opinion of the International Court of Justice, confirming that the right to strike is protected under International Labour Organization Convention No. 87 on Freedom of Association and Protection of the Right to Organise.

❗️ L’aide publique au développement s’effondre comme jamais auparavant ❗️

D'après les données de l'OCDE, l'aide au développement a chuté de 23,1 % en 2025. Les pays les plus vulnérables sont les premiers touchés :
▪️ -25,8 % pour les pays à faible revenu
▪️ -26 % pour l’Afrique subsaharienne
▪️ -35,8 % pour l’aide humanitaire

Cette chute historique intervient alors que les crises s’intensifient : conflits, inégalités, dérèglement climatique.

Réduire l’aide aujourd’hui, c’est fragiliser la lutte contre la pauvreté, affaiblir les institutions démocratiques et compromettre un développement durable pour tous.

✊ Plus que jamais, renforçons notre engagement collectif et notre solidarité internationale pour répondre aux défis globaux, aux côtés des acteurs de terrain.

According to OECD data, international aid fell by 23.1% in 2025. The most vulnerable countries are the hardest hit:
