European non-profit organisation We want all Europeans to be able to breathe clean air unpolluted by to***co smoke.

ENSP’s mission is to develop a strategy for co-ordinated action among organisations active in to***co control in Europe by sharing information and experience and through co-ordinated activities and joint projects. ENSP aims to create greater coherence among smoking prevention activities and to promote comprehensive to***co control policies at both national and European levels. ENSP’s vision is tha

t our fellow European citizens will not suffer the burden of ill health and premature death caused by to***co. We want children to have the chance to grow up without being targeted by messages that seek to lure them into a lifetime of addiction. ENSP is a network made up of to***co control advocates and experts, academics and members of civil society who actively combine efforts to exchange knowledge and co-ordinate strategies. Active since 1997, we contribute and react to to***co control developments and disseminate information throughout Europe, thus ensuring a fast response to priorities. Above all, ENSP is working for full implementation of the Framework Convention on To***co Control (FCTC).

This International Youth Day, young people are united behind a future free from to***co and ni****ne addiction, industry interference and preventable harm.

We call on governments and international institutions to:
• protect young people;
• protect public health policy;
• keep the WHO review of ni****ne independent; and
• make the to***co industry pay.

Our future is not their market.

📢 Excitement is building for the 11th European Conference on To***co Control (ECTC 2026)!

Held under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, hosted by Türkiye Green Crescent Society and the International Green Crescent Federation, in partnership with ENSP, the conference will take place in Istanbul on 4–6 November 2026. Co-chairs Prof. Panagiotis Behrakis (ENSP) and Amb. Dr. Mehmet Güllüoğlu (Vice President, Türkiye Green Crescent Society) held a preparatory meeting to advance planning.

From flavors and sleek designs to digital marketing and misleading narratives around “innovation” and “harm reduction,” youth are being intentionally targeted.

This World No To***co Day 2026, the Global Youth Voices movement and its participating youth organizations, including International Youth To***co Control, International Federation of Medical Students' Associations, IPSF - International Pharmaceutical Students' Federation, Y-ACT Youth In Action, Alianza Juvenil por el Bienestar y Desarrollo, ASEAN Youth Organization, ENSP - European Network for Smoking and To***co Prevention, and YOUTH for Health & Wellbeing, are bringing together youth advocates, health professionals, and movement leaders from across regions to expose these tactics and demand accountability.
