Our Sherpa Erika Rastelli represented our confederation at Campus Montecitorio Foundation, Rome. Diplomacy and national interest in the new global balance.

The conference focused on analyzing the major geopolitical, economic, and cultural transformations currently redefining the international balance of power through a series of in-depth panel discussions covering international relations, the geopolitics of the future, global balances, economic development, energy, food resources, cultural diplomacy, interfaith dialogue, and matters of protocol and etiquette.

It was a high-level discussion involving ambassadors, institutional representatives, academics, and experts in international relations, economics, energy, and cultural diplomacy. A collaboration among visionaries committed to perseverance and networking to achieve our goals. An opportunity to understand the global challenges of our time and Europe’s role on the international stage.

Our factories safeguard and preserve stories that can be written and passed down; tradition is innovation that has succeeded. Production is not the only thing that matters; passing on that legacy is what counts.

In a world ruled by speed, the truly revolutionary act is pausing to look at our hands—the tools that allow us to create new things. We are experiencing structural change driven by geopolitical and macroeconomic shocks. While Europe cannot compete with Asian production volumes, it remains the undisputed global leader in creating value and product quality. Specialization leaves us exposed to shocks, yet growth must be sought in foreign markets, where Made in Europe is recognized as a premium offer. Future competitiveness will depend on the strength of the entire ecosystem.

Our thanks to Mr. Angelo Lucarella for involving us.

Institutions, entrepreneurs and young people together for a better European future.

Our President Gurkan Yildirim attended the Conference ‘How to communicate the Made in Italy: AI, craftmanship’ in Italy, in Marche Region.

From the perspective of young European entrepreneurs, Made in Italy is no longer seen only as a symbol of tradition—it is increasingly recognized as a model of how tradition can evolve through innovation.

Italy’s greatest strength is that it has never abandoned its heritage. Instead, it has combined craftsmanship, design excellence, and manufacturing know-how with digital technologies, sustainability, and advanced production. This creates a unique competitive advantage.

For younger entrepreneurs, authenticity and innovation are no longer opposites. A company that preserves its identity while embracing AI, digitalization, Industry 5.0, and sustainable business models is far more attractive than one that focuses on technology alone.

We also see exciting developments in Italian startups, advanced manufacturing, life sciences, clean technologies, and deep-tech ecosystems. These demonstrate that Made in Italy is becoming not just a mark of quality, but also a mark of innovation.

As European entrepreneurs, our challenge is to build more cross-border collaborations so that innovation developed in one country can scale across Europe. The future of Made in Italy is not simply about preserving excellence—it is about leading Europe’s next generation of sustainable, digital, and globally competitive businesses.

Thanks to Beatrice Beleggia, President of Giovani Imprenditori Confindustria Fermo and to our Secretary Gianni Gallucci for inviting our team to the event. Thanks to our G20 Young Entrepreneurs' Alliance Sherpa Erika Rastelli for joining the event; it was a pleasure to meet the Argertinian UNAJE International Affairs President Fausto Brighenti and Mr. Salman Alkatthaf from Saudi Arabia that keep learning from one another.
